Launching Q4 2026
Every storm on the record.
DocuPlow turns the service logs you already keep into weather-anchored storm dossiers and your SASC annual-report package — without changing the way you run your routes.

The side with the records tells the story.
You already log the work — plow times, salt rates, patrol passes, photos. But those logs live in your CRM, and the questions show up somewhere else entirely.
Since 2021, Ontario's Occupiers' Liability Act has given claimants 60 days to serve written notice of a winter slip-and-fall — and that notice can land on the snow contractor, not just the property owner. When it does, the Act expects you to pass it along, preserve your records for the date, and get your broker in the loop.
Late notice isn't automatically fatal — the Act lets courts excuse it where there's a reasonable excuse. But either way, it's your records that tell your side.
And the record-keeping never really stops: SASC certification asks for an annual report, insurers and adjusters ask for documentation when a claim lands, and property managers demand service logs by contract.
What DocuPlow does
Log import
Pull in the season's service logs from the snow-ops CRM you already run — CSV upload or API import. No rip-and-replace.
ECCC station weather
For any event window you choose, DocuPlow pulls hourly weather from the nearest Environment and Climate Change Canada station to each site — ECCC station data (nearest station), named right on the record.
Per-event dossier PDF
One PDF per storm: your logs, the station weather for that window, and site photos as supplied — organized and timestamped, ready to send to your broker, adjuster or lawyer when they ask.
60-day notice checklist
When a notice lands, a step-by-step checklist walks you through the Act's pass-on duties, what to preserve, and what to send your broker — in plain language, with clear disclaimers: documentation tooling, not legal advice.
Annual report rollup
Season-wide salt usage, service counts and weather context — rolled up into your annual report package in the style SASC certification asks for. Assembled in an afternoon.
How it works
1 — Import your season: drop in your CRM's CSV export or API pull and bring the winter's logs over.
2 — Flag the event windows that matter — a specific storm, a complaint date, a claim period.
3 — Export what's asked for: a per-event dossier PDF, the notice-response checklist, or the annual report package.
Priced like the work — by the season.
$349 CAD/season — owner-operators and small crews (1–10 employees).
Bigger operation? Plans scale with company size — leave your details and we'll match you to the right tier at launch.
One flat season price — no pay-per-report fees.
Frequently asked questions
Is this another dispatch or routing app?
No. DocuPlow doesn't route crews, schedule jobs or bill clients — it sits on top of the snow-ops CRM you already run and turns its logs into the records the season demands.
Will it work with my CRM?
It's built to import the CSV or API exports your current snow-ops software already produces. If your system exports a CSV, you're covered.
How accurate is the weather data?
Dossiers carry ECCC station data (nearest station) for each event window, with the station name and any data gaps noted on the document itself. It's not an on-site sensor, and the dossier never pretends otherwise.
A notice just arrived — what now?
The Act doesn't make late notice automatically fatal — courts can excuse late or missing notice where there's a reasonable excuse. Either way, the checklist walks you through the pass-on duties, what to preserve, and what your broker needs.
Is this legal advice?
No. It's documentation tooling with plain-language context on Ontario's rules — always read it alongside your own lawyer, broker or insurer.
What does it cost?
$349 CAD/season for owner-operators and small crews (1–10 employees). Larger crews move up a tier — leave your details and we'll match you at launch.
Are you affiliated with Smart About Salt?
No — Smart About Salt is an independent certification program. Our annual rollup is built in the style of the records that program asks certified contractors to keep.
